An old photography buddy of mine posted on Facebook one evening, "if anyone knows someone who can design logos, I'm in need of a logo for our new web based business." (Or something like that) I responded, with an, "I know someone who can design logos. Me." And friends were once again in dialog and working together with an objective in mind.
He had some initial ideas of what was desired in the logo. The outline of a soldier (he had the file), 13 stars, the year 1776, and the name of the logo in a circular fashion. Sounded easy enough.
After only a few tweaks, we landed on something he liked very much. Presenting, Patriot Family Supply.
At the time, Swiss Army knives and other utilities type products were being sold through an eBay storefront. I haven't followed up with him recently, and after a quick search, it seems the eBay storefront is active, with a lot of cool items, mostly specialty knives. Check it out!
He's a good guy, and I wish him the best of luck.
