How to Properly Pour Beer - Video

Did you know there are different ways to pour different beer styles?  If not, then now you do.  This video gives a quick overview.



And whatever you do, don't drink it out of the bottle.  Beer is meant to be drunk from a glass.

A few quick tips:

1. The glass should be clean.  Very clean.  Any leftover dish detergent will hinder head retention.
2. Rinse out the glass good with water prior to pouring, to assure it is clean.
3. The best beer glasses will be what is called "beer clean".  This means it has never met up with soap or detergent.  I don't have any glasses like this presently... Except for the Boot.
