Be Our Guest Restaurant at the New Fantasyland

As Annual Passholders, we had the opportunity to preview the New Fantasyland at Disney World in the Magic Kingdom.  While at the preview, we managed to score a reservation at the Be Our Guest restaurant.  This upscale dining atmosphere is themed on the the movie Beauty & The Beast.  A huge main dining room, with fancy chandeliers, as well as other themes rooms complete the dining area.

The menu (at least for this preview) was rather limited, but good.  I had the salmon, and my wife chose the Cornish Hen.  As a French style restaurant, you'd expect a decent wine menu, but I was pleased to see a Beer Menu too.  Being the Beer geeks we are, of course we didn't even look at the wine and both chose a beer.  My wife had the Hoegaarden, and I selected the Saison Dupont.  It is a rather limited selection, but I'm glad to see it.  AND, this is the first and only place alcohol is served at the Magic Kingdom.

The food was good, the atmosphere was great.  If you have the opportunity, it is well worth it, and be sure to walk around and tour the entire restaurant.
