Tonight I'll be at the Central Florida Sunshine Challenge Beerfest, "working" as I help pour with the Volusia County Home Brewers Guild (VCHBG). I'm bringing a few of my beers to share as well. If you are in the area, check it out. It probably isn't too late.
I joined the VCHBG group a few months ago, and quickly found that it is nice to be part of a community and not just the lone brewer, brewing on my own little island. At the same time, the first year of brewing I basically learned on my own (with a lot of help from the local brew shop) and I have found a strong sense of accomplishment in figuring it all out. Now, I hopefully have something to offer too, as well as continue to learn this fine craft.... and I'll have some fun while at it.
The first person recognize me as Galileo's Bane will win a autographed Apotheosis Porter label. (Wow, am I that good? No, but what the hell. Why not!)
