The world's best mead?

At the Sunshine Challenge event this past weekend, I had the opportunity to try Viking Blod mead.  I've not heard of it before, but was informed that this is how mead should taste, and that it was potentially the best mead in the world.

I can't vouch for that necessarily, but it was truly fantastic.  Sweet, smooth, tasty, and with a changing flavor throughout.  It's hard to explain anymore than that.

A quick Google search resulted in a You Tube reveiw video.  I haven't really done videos myself yet, and mainly because they seem rather goofy...  and this is no different.  At the same time, the expressions on their faces upon first try is revealing of the quality of this beverage.
